Inviting Your Team
How to invite teammates and what admins and members can each do.
Roles
KitchenAPI has two roles:
Admin
Full access: create and edit pipelines, edit templates and SKU mappings, run conversions, and invite teammates.
Member
Can view pipelines and run conversions, but can't change the setup (pipelines, templates, or SKU mappings) and can't invite others.
Invite a teammate
- 1Go to Settings → Team Members.
- 2Enter the person's email and choose their role (Admin or Member).
- 3Choose Invite. They'll receive an email with a link to accept.
- 4When they accept, they confirm their email with a one-time code and join your workspace.
Managing your team
From Settings → Team Members, admins can change a teammate's role or remove them. A workspace always keeps at least one admin.
Security
KitchenAPI signs everyone in with a one-time email code (no passwords). Admins may also be asked to set up an authenticator app for extra security, depending on your workspace's settings. You can manage this under Settings → Account Security.
