Your QuickBooks connection

Go to Settings → Connections → Connect QuickBooks and sign in with your Intuit account.

You approve the connection on Intuit's own sign-in page — KitchenAPI never sees or stores your QuickBooks password. What we hold is an encrypted connection token that no one, including us, can read.

Sign in with the Intuit account that owns the QuickBooks company you want documents created in. If your login has access to several companies, Intuit asks you to pick during the connection.

Each pipeline is set to create estimates or invoices in the pipeline editor — most dealers start with estimates.

KitchenAPI only creates new documents. It never modifies or deletes existing customers, items, or transactions — and duplicate protection flags any document number that already exists instead of double-posting.

Disconnect any time from Settings → Connections (or revoke from inside QuickBooks). Pipelines pause while disconnected — reconnect and they automatically re-attach to the new connection, no reconfiguration needed.
